Working single father of two, faces eviction for non-payment rent. Turned down by loan agencies. Who can Help?

Live in the city of Chicago, single father looking to pay rent. Was robbed twice for rent money. Relative is a possible subject, no evidence to prove, now faced with a fourteen day notice. Currently, living in public housing due to income not eligible for a loan to cover, makes to much to receive assistance through Department of Human Services. Work to help people now I need help.Working single father of two, faces eviction for non-payment rent. Turned down by loan agencies. Who can Help?
Good luck buddy. I can't help because I am in the same boat, practically. But I wish you well.
talk to a worker at the salvation army. sometimes, they can give you a loan, or can find you better housing and free daycare.Working single father of two, faces eviction for non-payment rent. Turned down by loan agencies. Who can Help?
You need someone to advocate on your behalf.

Get the ear of a supportive Social Services worker and request that he or she be your advocate for you and your children. Once you have done that, you may find no stronger ally.

Best Wishes!
Try the free website listed below and look for grants and loans you do qualify for.Working single father of two, faces eviction for non-payment rent. Turned down by loan agencies. Who can Help?

My heart goes out to you sir, however very many folks have problems paying rent, many are homeless and very many are starving to death. We are lucky in this country to have social services...and public housing. And I see you have a Job,,bravo!!!! Now get up from that big old chair and find another job..you fat blob! Luv you too,
If you have been robbed. Did you file a report? If you did. Go to the police department sometimes they have this program called Victim compensation. I dont know if they have this where you live but ask. I got help last year. My ex husband and me had a problem. I put charges and they told me about this Victims compensation. I was at a shelter. They paid daycare and six months of rent. The police station always knows where to send you for help. Hope this was of help to you.
Wow, I'm amazed they didn't refer you to a victims services advocate or something.

For immediate help try he local churches, especially the Latter

Day Saints. They are very family oriented and very caring.

You don't have to be of that religion either. They helped my family when we had to live in the car.
Call your church if u have one. If not u can still call a church and tell them ur situation. Good luck
I found a great-looking website, but am not sure how good it is: http://www.prosper.com

I does seem like it could be helpful.
Your local Department of Social Services!! And try Catholic Charities as well.
You live in public housing which means you should have a low rent.you make TO MUCH to receive assistance and let a relative steal from you "TWICE".Looks like your not managing very well.Think of your children and start budgeting better for their sake.We all live check to check with the cost of living now a days.Get a second job till you catch up and stop looking for charity. We already pay taxes on your public housing Good luck and God bless you and your kids.
