Is it possible to download game updates through a PC and transfer them to PS3 via a flash drive?
I have a wireless DSL connection, and the connection speed isn't the greatest on my PS3, making downloading game updates fusturating. What was the first video game to have customizable features?
I'm writing a paper on games with customization and how players view them versus other games for my college class. I wanted to include a bit on the first game that had a customizable option or two and I would like to know which one that was. I tried googling it, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know or have an idea of at least one of the earlier games if not the first?

Do you mean being able to equip different items or weapons in a game to accomplish some task or solve a puzzle? If so, then even the earliest adventure/RPG games had this feature going all the way back to titles like Adventure, or Rouge, Wizardry, Ultima (the first one that is) etc.
Or do you mean the ability to use an editor of some sort (either in-game, or as a separate program) to create new items, characters, or entire new levels, for use within a game? If so, that goes back pretty far as well. I can certainly remember playing games like "Arcade Machine", "Adventure Construction Set" and "Pinball Construction Set" back in the mid-80s on the Apple (similar titles were also available on other home PCs at the time too.) These weren't games per se, but tool kits to build an entire game from the ground up. You created the characters, the graphics, animations, rules, etc.

What is a game I could Play to help teach the future tense in spanish?
I need to invent a game that gets the class conjugating verbs into the future tense. Any ideas of games that could be used?

Maybe you could get your class into a computer lab or something and have them play these games for future AR verbs and future ER verbs. Basically we were organized into groups, and she would give us a verb, and every person in the group would write one form of the verb then pass the paper to the next person to write the next form. To make sure that people weren't doing the same verb form each time groups of five would be best, that way one person does two forms each time, and everyone in the group does a different form each time.

It wasn't high scoring, but the Seminols and the fans were soooo loud that they hurt their own team and Wake Forest represents the "small guy"" and went in and did their job.
I also watched Texas and Rice and even though the game was over early and not very exciting throughout, I did get to see Colt McCoy make this amazing run breaking tackles and getting into the end zone.
