Well I think you should do some online research, because everyone has their own views on here. You also need to remember how horrible the economy is right now so have an open mind. Chicago has lots of public transportation. CTA buses aren't the best but there are plent of them. Apartments cost depend on what part of the city you live in. It'd be most expensive up north. I think it's best to live in a south suburb... They are reasonably priced. Overall, it is a major city and it is expensive. I guess you can compare Philly to that.
