White House summer intern for Office of Emergency Planning (1962)|||Its too bad because he seems well qualified .
Mr Burris should have know what was going to happen and i'm sure Reid has a backup plan.|||It is called fruit from the poisonous tree. If a corrupt politician makes decisions, then all of his actions will always be subject to scrutiny. With credentials like those you listed, Roland Burris should have done the honorable act of declining the office of the Senate.|||Burris isn't the issue, it's that the guy who appointed him was expecting money for the appointment.
Danny Davis was also considered, but withdrew, because he didn't want any part of this process. Burris should have done the same.|||Burris knew his appointment was going to be blocked, but he arrogantly pushed ahead anyway. Apparently with all that experience he hasn't learned to do the right thing.|||It's politics ~
