How to launch different game modes through console in l4d2/l4d?

When me and my friends play LAN we like to launch it through the console. Normally we do the sv_lan 1, net_start then map blah blah blah and can scroll down and select from the choice of campaign maps. But if we want to play survival/versus how do we choose this game mode in l4d2? What are the map names for survival mode? I launched into a campaign map in survival mode but there was nothing to start the horde and I was just running through the level without zombies.How to launch different game modes through console in l4d2/l4d?yeh i always load mine through console aswell, i normall do the following for l4d:

-sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0

-sv_lan 1

-z_difficulty (easy,normal,hard,impossible)

-map (mapname)



thats for normal starting up but for versus mode its:

-sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0

-sv_lan 1

-mp_gamemode versus

-jointeam 3 --- (only do jointeam 3 if you want to be on zombie team)



usually when i play survival lan, i always use a custom map because it already a survival map. but you could try mp_gamemode survival, that could work i havnt tried it.n also if you would like to play single player versus do the following:

(In a map)

sv_cheats 1

mp_gamemode versus

sb_all_bot_team 1

jointeam 3

works perfect only a few things, you cant see the handprints that tell you u can climb this pole, but u can still climb up that area, sometimes bots just stand there try to make one of them move while ur an infected and it should be fine and when u reach the finaly sometimes doesnt work they dont call the radio :(
