How do I keep my Sims 3 Deluxe game from unexpectedly quitting?

It's so weird! I'm playing my game, and all of a sudden without any warning or anything it just quits to the desktop! Don't answer by saying that I should try reinstalling it because I've already tried that. I've also tried getting a new game and that still didn't work. So I know it has to be something with the computer, but what could the problem be because I have no idea.
