What Board Game is better Axis and Allies or Diplomacy?

Okay so I was wondering what board game is better Axis and Allies or Diplomacy.

I'm looking for something that is more strategic and realistic in terms of how a real general would plan and forward a war movement.



I appreciate all your answers and any recommendations to other games as well,

also does anyone know of a game like Titan but without the magical or mystical stuff?.



Thanks again.What Board Game is better Axis and Allies or Diplomacy?I believe Acquire is one of the best 3-or-more player strategy games, having hidden tiles, space concepts, and shrewd maneuvering of corporate chains (mergers, including hostile takeovers). Money matters, but attack angles are paramount on its 10 X 12 board.



Of course, chess has all your elements. Especially if you use the Kriegspiel variant (German for "Art of War"), where you don't get to see the enemy - just defeat them!



Stratego is also really good at the basics.



Many of the Avalon Hill war games excel, but are complicated - such as Midway, Battle Of The Bulge, Tactics (Tactics II), and Squad Leader (Panzer Blitz, Panzer Leader).|||For a realistic war game check out "Where There Is Discord"

If you want something more globally strategic, the Cold War game "Twilight Struggle" is one of the best games ever.

On a side note if your old school like me and still have a ps2 get allied general and panzer general. They are the best 2 turn based wargames ever made. very realistic with supply line etc and can be played solo.|||Oh i as like 4 years old when i saw my dad and his mates playing axis and allies. Looks like a good game, i never played it.
