What game pack would i need to get for guild wars achievements for gw2?

i want to start playing but i don't know which games to buy. there are expansions and the actual game. what do i need to buy in order to get those achievements for part 2? im thinking eye of the north only but is that just an expansion?What game pack would i need to get for guild wars achievements for gw2?Well the game that you need to transfer "achievements" over to Guild Wars 2 is Eye of the North, which is an expansion pack to one of the three standalone games (Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall). As for which game to buy that depends on which story you would like to play as well as which profession you want to play as well. The core professions, which are available in all games, are warrior, monk, ranger, mesmer, necromancer, and elementalist. If get Factions then you are able to choose assassin or ritualist as your profession and if you get Nightfall you are able to choose paragon or Dervish.

First you need one of the campaigns. Either campaign will do - Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall.

Then you need the expansion to get to the Hall of monuments. That's the Eye of the North.



If you are just aiming for some quick points you don't need all three, a single campaign + Eye will net you 10-15 points with a bit of playing, and I would suggest Nightfall as you pretty early on get a lot of points for your heroes upgrades, which is a lot harder to get with the other campaigns (as you have to wait for Eye and upgrades are tougher to get).
