Which US city is the best to live in.?

Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Phoenix, Houston, Miami or Washington DC... now please don't just say one because you live in it (unless you really think it is recommended). What I am looking for is a good place where houses arent too expensive, moderate traffic (i friggin hate traffic), no natural disaster places (like cyclones and storms and stuff) and also a good source of public transportation. Thanks :D|||If you are taking public trans, why do you care about traffic? On that logical note, I would say Chicago.

For the sake of this question, I would say Houston.|||New York, of course (:|||lol new york has traffic galore i like ohio.... but why the heck would u want public transportation.. get a car|||I'm from Ireland but I've been to all of them except Chicago and Miami, I would say Pheonix was my favourite, New York was cool but don't think I'd like to live there. I loved Pheonix, traffic wasn't too bad, weather was great and people were sound. Can't comment on house prices because I stayed in hotels.|||Well, Bull' - and please work on your language, as even cloaked profanity is the sign of a weak mind - let me break it down for you:

LA - been there, lots of traffic, expensive to live, earthquakes

Atlanta - been there, lots of traffic, rather expensive to live, it gets HOT

Chi - been there, lots of traffic, rather expensive to live, COLD in the winter

New York - been there, lots of traffic, VERY expensive to live

Phoenix, Miami, DC - no idea

I'm going to suggest a little something smaller: Columbia, Mo. housing is good, traffic moderate, odds of tornadoes is low, there's good public transportation system. It's a university town, so it's very diverse and there is always something to do. It's a "green" town, if you're in to that, and you can be in the larger St. Louis or Kansas City in about two hours.|||all those listed are expensive and all have traffic. only two have public transportation worth taking. with this list, you are out of luck.|||Los Angeles and New York are the worst cities.

the best city to live in is Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Houston, Miami, and Washington|||Since you hate traffic, that eliminates Los Angeles and Atlanta. Miami, Washington, D.C., New York are very expensive. Houston gets hurricanes, so that leaves Chicago or Phoenix for you. I would personally choose Phoenix since it is close to the West Coast and it doesn't snow, unless you like wind.
