i now live in chicago. would like to stay in midwest area and close by. the main state would be: wisconsin, michigan, ohio, minnesota, missouri, n. and s. dakota, and nebraska. open to living in a big city or small town. if you suggest a big city, please tell me what neighborhood of the city, no downtown areas, they are way too crowded to live in for me, parking is bad, and i prefer to live in a house (at least that is what downtown chicago is like). please keep in mind things such as friendliness, safety, schools, crime. also tell me how far it is from the city and public transportation. also add anything else you want to. thanks.|||Ok i know you said mid west and New England but the following are not to far from there. The Williamsburg area of Virginia is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been! It is a super safe area and i assume the schools are good. It is only like three hours from Washington DC if u wanted to vacation there. It is a really nice suburb it is located near William and Mary college i beleive. During the summer you can bring your kids to the amazing historical sites.
Another great place to live is a suburb of Philadelphia! It is an amazing place! and it is where i am from. I would suggest living in Bucks County in the Council Rock District area. That in one of the top school districts in PA. It is spacious and really a kool area. Newtown is the place to live in that area. It is a really nice classy ssuburb, the schools are amazin.
I will also suggest Alexandria or Manassas VA. I dont know much about the school districts but i think they are probablly really good. It is a BEAUTIFUL area!!! Virginia is like the most beautiful state ever i think. I suggest those three locations :)~
* These places are all within an hour of a city~|||Royal Oak, Michigan is a calm and relaxing area in a lovely state where you can go up north and swim. It is a safe and exciting place to experience all weather. It is very friendly with a low crime rate. Schools are great and buses are everywhere.
