Hi there!
I am looking for a warm winter jacket/snowsuit for my 7 month old. All of the ones I have found at Gap, Old Navy and Nordstroms do not seem warm enough. They seem very thin. Do you know of a good store or website that has very warm snowsuits? I am in Chicago and the winters here get pretty cold, I also will be taking public trans to the babysitters house, so I need something that is very very warm!
If you have any suggestions on where to find one, please let me know!
Thanks!!!!|||Walmart has comfy, soft %26amp; insulated ones. Babies R Us too. But you might want to check craigslist.com.|||Land's End has some pretty warm suits for baby:

I live in the Detroit area, so I know something about cold winters!
Hanna Anderson: I had one last year for my daughter.

Thanks AP momma! I forgot about LL bean|||Now the linings of snowsuits are thinner because they are a special material that insulates with less bulk. You can put a sweater under if you feel it is not warm enough. They say layering is best.|||I'm from chicago as well. I got my daughter's from Hannah Anderson. They have an outlet store at a mall in Michigan City IN. I got my son't at Lands End, but that was YEARS ago. I liked that one the best. I know what your saying about them being to thin but you have to think about how much clothes they have on and how the car is probably already warmed up inside, you don't want your baby to sweat then he/she will scream like crazy.|||Oh cool at first I was thinking about the problems that you were going to have with the car seat, which is why most outfits are thin. The outfit I used for my boys was a suit that had arms with gloves attached and a hood, then no legs......the legs were like a sleeping bag. I used to dress them in just a onsie and put this on. I can not remember the brand name or even where I got it, probably WalMart or Target. But this is what you need, they are great and easy to put on when baby is sleeping.
