i honestly have no clue if im rich. my friends always say i am but i dont why!! i h always say "no im not" and they keep saying yes you are... but i dont know!
i live in in IL, near Chicago. a 25 minute train ride away from Chicago past all the bad parts.
at the moment, my dad doesnt have a job, but we still have money because he gets paid until he finds a new job. he went to Cornell college, and wesley university. he has a busniess degree or something but i dont know really. we are selling my hosue right now because my dad is probly going to get a new job in another place. we re selling my house for 799,000. i dont think im spoiled. i shop mostly at americn eagle or aeropostle, but i also like marshalls. i only have one pair of uggs. i have a iphone4 and a macbook pro, but only because my dad believes in giving me electronics.
i dont have too much in my room, and i go to regualar public school.
i travel alot.
i ussully go to france every year, only because my grandparents live there and they pay for me and my brother everytime. i go to texas every year but thats not too expensive, right? and ive been to the Galapagos Islands once, and my grandparents and my parents split the money in half fo me and my brother. i dont really have a lot more or get a lot more. i get paid 15$ an hour for chores and get 5$ for walking my dog and 10 for giving my dog a bath and 20$ a week for being nice to my mom since my dad knows i hate her guts. my mom doesnt work. only my dad. thats like really all.
oh and my parents have 2 cars. my mom that oddysey van thats new or whatver and my dad has a 10 year old acura car. THATS ALL.|||You must live in the NW burbs like Naperville or something ill bet. Going to France one a year and talking about selling your house for over 3/4 of a million dollars. Compared to me, you are freaking loaded.
I live in a house that is valued at 140k and I've never been out of the country. I drive a Mercury Marauder and I make $14 per hour driving cross country and my job security is up and down. So as I said, compared to me and many other people of my social class, you ARE rich. Btw, I also live near Chicago.|||You're upper middle class, like me, but you would get the impression that your rich because of how much you get paid for small things and the fact that you have a mac and iphone when you could have something normal. You get paid too much for small things like you listed.|||Your parents are not rich. They sound like regular old upper middle class class. That's all.|||no upper middle class|||one thing rich or not! dude don't ever go around hating on your mom!
